05/07/2018 The Ribera Sacra Wine Festival will open on Saturday with the ViñoRuta del Miño, "Camiñando entre viñas" at 9.30. in the Parque de los Condes. The participants will visit a winery in the Cabo do Mundo where they will have a commented tasting and will go to the vineyard, they will also know the Pazo de Arxeriz, the Romanesque church of San Miguel de Eiré and another winery in Siós to close the ViñoRuta in the Paseo del Malecón, main stage of the festival with bodega stands. Stands that will open at 11.30 h. Between 12.00 h. and 14.00 h. a traditional pottery workshop will be developed in Gundivós.
At 16.30 h. ViñoRutas closes with ViñoRuta del Sil "Sintiendo Ribeira Sacra". The activity will begin with a visit to a viewpoint in Doade, where the trip will start on the Aba Sacra train. They will also know a winery and the Potter Center of Gundivós, to return to the Paseo del Malecón in Monforte. Here there will be workshops for children between 18.00 h. and 8:00 p.m. These workshops will be repeated on Sunday between 12.00 and 14.00h.
Davide Salvado and Pedro Pascual will offer a concert at 10.30 pm. and A Banda da Loba at 00.00 h. on saturday. There will be gastronomy stands during the weekend. On Sunday the stands will open at 11.30 h. and the Festival closing will be at 13.00 h.
