The second edition of the Ribera Sacra Wine Festival, organized by the City Council of Monforte de Lemos and the Regulatory Council of the Ribera Sacra Denomination of Origin, will be held on July 6, 7 and 8 at Paseo del Malecón, side of the Cabe river, an idyllic setting to enjoy our wines, our cuisine and crafts.
The festival, which has wine as its main protagonist, also brings together programmed activities, history, tradition and culture. In this II edition 24 wineries of the 5 subzones of the D.O. Ribera Sacra.
The festival will feature musical performances by Najla Shami (July 6, 10:30 pm), Sons do Douro (July 6 00:00), Davide Salvado and Pedro Pascual (July 7, 10:30 pm), and Banda da Loba (July 7 00.00), children's workshops of Gundivós olería, flavors, storytelling and crafts, and wine tourism routes for which it is necessary to reserve a place at 34 772 76 43 46 or email festivalribeirasacra@gmail.com.
On July 6 at 9.30 h. Miño WineRoute "De Río e de Pedra" will begin, that same day at 4.30pm. will begin the Sil WineRoute "De Auga e de Viño" and the WineRoute of the Quiroga Valley "Ruta do viño e do aceite". Saturday, July 7 at 9.30 h. will begin the Miño Wine Route "Camiñando entre viñas" and at 16.30 the Sil WineRoute "Sentindo Ribeira Sacra". On Friday, July 6, the stands will open at 6:30 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 p.m., with the official closing on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
