24/07/2018 The 17th Ribera Sacra Festival celebrates its second edition after the success of the first experience of 2017. This time the program is extended to two weekends, from July 27 to 29 and August 4 and 5. The festival's activities are distributed through different points of the Ribera Sacra, in viewpoints, wineries, monuments, catamarans, ... and include concerts, tastings, routes, guided tours and many other surprises.
One of the main events will take place in Monforte with the concert of Coque Malla, Woods, Fuckaine, Puerto Candelaria and Freedonia. The scenery, the Plaza Luis de Góngora y Argote, next to the Benedictine convent of San Vicente, today Parador de Turismo. It will be on Saturday, July 28, starting at 8:00 p.m. when the music begins to sound in the city of Cabe and to fill with atmosphere one of the most emblematic scenarios of Monforte.
Our city will also be a point of reference for other festival activities since on the 27th and 28th the bus service that will connect the different spaces of the festival (Doade catamaran, Regina Viarum and Algueira wineries and Santiorxo viewpoint), will have its departure from Monforte
