Multicines Hollywood in Monforte de Lemos will host the premiere presentation of the film at 8:00 p.m., which will be released in 2022 in national theaters. Cinema and cinemas always fascinated this creator from Monforte who in 2016 proclaimed the Patron Saint Festivities of the city and thus remembered his childhood:

“Where I dreamed was at the Lemos Theater, one day, I don't know how old I would be, 10 or 11, my mother took me to see a movie, I remember there was a queue that surrounded the entire street, and above all I remember that room crowded with people, parents, children, grandparents, they tried to sit in those red armchairs, amidst the smoke from the cigarettes and the noise of the bags of popcorn. And everything went black all of a sudden, and there my friend Elliot appeared, trying to save ET. I still remember that silence when ET dies, and I also remember the shouts of joy when the bikes fly, and the tears in people's eyes when the strangest and special friends that I had ever seen say goodbye.

It was something that I will never forget, and surely it was the germ that I wanted to dedicate myself to telling stories, that in my house there was not a Saturday in which we did not see a "vaquerada" as a family, that is what my father called western, genre that I adore and pillar of the cinema that I like to make. "

Live is Life takes the viewer to the night of San Juan in the mid-80s to tell the story of a group of five children in a small town in Galicia. The director from Monforte is one of the ambassadors of Monforte, the Ribeira Sacra and the province of Lugo.
