TOURISM OFFICE

Monforte Tourist Office is located in an emblematic building in Monforte that was used over the years for very different functions. In 1752 it was donated to the Order of San Juan de Dios to become a hospital. In the second half of the 19th century it became a Casino and in the 30s of the 20th century it became the seat of the Monforte City Council.

This building also houses the Ribeira Sacra Wine Center with its Interpretation Center, its Tapería and Vinoteca, as well as the headquarters of D.O. Ribeira Sacra. The interior layout of the building marks the flow and circulation of the visit through its patio and gallery.

Located in the heart of the city and at the gates of the Jewish quarter, Tourist Office is the place of reference for those who want to know more about the heritage, cultural and landscape wealth of the city of Cabe, the municipality of Monforte de Lemos and the entire Ribeira Sacra territory. Guided visits to the Centro do Viño begin here every day at 12:30 am and 6:30 pm.  See location
